visionary electronic artist Chris Avantgarde has announced his highly anticipated debut album Hyperreal, set for release in 2026 via his newly launched label imprint of the same name, in partnership with boom. records. Marking a pivotal moment in his career, the project kicks off with the first single “Energy”, available now.
The announcement follows a landmark summer that saw collaborations with heavyweights Anyma and Adam Beyer, B2B performances with Enrico Sangiuliano and Kevin de Vries, and appearances at world-class festivals including Ultra, EDC, and Tomorrowland. Energy offers the first glimpse into the sonic universe of Hyperreal, blending precision-engineered club dynamics with sharp, unexpected detail — positioning Chris as one of the most distinctive and forward-thinking voices in modern dance music.
“Hyperreal marks the launch of my new label and debut album, combining all my influences and the music I play live into one coherent project. It’s an ode to versatility and freedom, unconstrained by genre limitations yet still a consecutive sounding project with my signature on every piece of output.” – Chris Avantgarde

Already supported by industry titans such as Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, Alesso, Adriatique, Pete Tong, and Massano, Energy has quickly become one of the most talked-about IDs of the season. The six-minute cut unfolds with hypnotic synth layers, sawing basslines, and rolling percussion, delivering a propulsive, peak-time energy. Its mechanical topline offers a charged preview of Hyperreal, underscoring Chris’s ability to create dancefloor weapons with undeniable impact.
About Chris Avantgarde
Born Christian Vornweg, the German-born, London-based producer, composer, and DJ blurs the lines between club culture and cinematic composition. Classically and jazz-trained as a multi-instrumentalist, his music has found a home far beyond the dancefloor, with placements across film, trailers, and video games — earning him an ASCAP Synch of the Year award. With over a decade of experience as a behind-the-scenes studio producer, Chris is celebrated for his meticulous craftsmanship, technical fluency, and creative range.
With Hyperreal, Chris aims to support both emerging and established artists through a no-compromise approach to originality and quality in electronic music. The label will operate as a creative hub — spanning collaborations, live events, licensing, merchandising, and more — while giving its roster the freedom to experiment and push their artistic boundaries.
Having released music on Afterlife, Experts Only, Drumcode, and Dirtybird, Chris brings his boundary-pushing versatility and tastemaker instincts to his own imprint. Partnering with boom. records — a data-driven distribution label home to artists like Austin Mills and Łaszewo — ensures that Hyperreal is backed by a team equally committed to innovation, quality, and artist independence.
