On Monday, June 2nd, Ibiza witnessed a groundbreaking moment in live electronic music as visionary artist Eric Prydz launched the world-exclusive debut of Holosphere 2.0 at the newly inaugurated [UNVRS] nightclub. This monumental show marks a bold new chapter in the evolution of audiovisual experiences on the dancefloor, merging state-of-the-art technology with immersive artistry.
Far more than a performance, Holosphere 2.0 is a fully realized vision – a towering, 8-meter high, 8-ton holographic sphere built from the ground up to support Prydz’s innovative concept. Engineered with custom-made components and enveloping the artist in three layers of transparent LED screens, the structure creates the world’s first immersive concert of its kind — a true spectacle tailored for the club environment yet delivered with arena-scale ambition.
“We’ve waited six years for this — not because we wanted to, but because we had to. The technology had to catch up with the vision. Every element of Holosphere 2.0 is custom, original. This is what we always dreamed of,” says Prydz.
Designed to operate without a linear narrative, Holosphere 2.0 is dynamic and alive, reacting in real-time to Prydz’s musical direction. Each moment is shaped organically, making every show a unique experience — unpredictable, emotional, and deeply connected to the energy of the crowd.

The creation of the sphere involved a collaboration with a dream team of digital artists, including GMUNK, who blended cinematic CGI with practical visual effects captured in Los Angeles studios. Crystal orbs, plasma bursts, and glowing glass were filmed in 360°, laser-mapped, and transformed into breathtaking, animated holographic environments. The visual fidelity represents a generational leap from the original Holosphere debuted in 2019, making this not a sequel but a complete reimagination.
The venue itself, [UNVRS], was purpose-built to house this revolutionary structure, boasting the spatial scale and technical capability required to support such an ambitious installation.
Joining Eric Prydz for the debut were rising talents Rivo, J Ribbon, and Bender, each contributing their own sound and spirit to a truly unforgettable night in Ibiza’s nightlife history.
Eric Prydz presents Holosphere 2.0 will run every Monday from June 2nd to September 1st at [UNVRS], setting a new benchmark for the intersection of music, art, and technology.
