Exclusive Interview: Astrø on “Dangerous Feelings,” Collaborating with Adriatique

To celebrate the release of “Dangerous Feelings”, the long-awaited collaboration between Adriatique and Lebanese DJ/producer Astrø, we caught up with Astrø to talk about the story behind the track, what it felt like to play it live in Beirut, and what’s next for him this summer.

But first—here’s a quick look at the release itself.

🎧 About the Track: Dangerous Feelings [SIAMESE]

Released on July 4th, 2025 via Siamese Anthology VIII, Dangerous Feelings marks the first official collaboration between the iconic Swiss duo Adriatique and rising Lebanese talent Astrø. The track clocks in at 6:03, with a BPM of 123 and a key of E minor, falling under the Melodic House & Techno genre.

It opens with a deep, cinematic rhythm that gradually builds into an ethereal groove layered with haunting vocals and bright piano melodies. The emotional tone makes it perfect for sunrise festival moments and introspective dance floors. The release has already made waves across summer festivals, appearing in Adriatique’s sets and climbing into the top 15 on Traxsource’s charts.

💬 Interview with Astrø :

Q1: How did the collaboration with Adriatique come about?
The collaboration came about pretty organically. Adrians fell in love with my initial version of the track after playing it for the first time with Innellea in Tulum. They really resonated with it, and from there we started developing it together. It was a very natural process.

Q2: How does it feel to finally release the track after working on it for over a year and a half?
Honestly, it feels surreal. So much energy, emotion, and anticipation built up over that time. There were moments when I wondered if it would ever come out, but in the end, it finally happened. The response so far has been incredible, and I’m just grateful people are finally able to enjoy it.

Q3: What did the moment feel like when you played it with Adriatique in Lebanon?
That moment was pure magic. Playing the track live in Beirut with Adriatique and feeling the crowd’s energy gave me chills. Lebanon is home, so sharing such a special moment there made it even more emotional for me. I could see how much the crowd connected with it, and that shared experience is something I’ll never forget.

Q4: What kind of music can we expect you to play at your next show in Lebanon this month?
I’m preparing a set that reflects where I’m at musically right now—deep, emotional, and groove-driven. I want to create a real atmosphere, something people can get lost in. Lebanon has a very special energy, so I always try to bring something unique to the table.
