The official Higher Power Mathame remix has arrived, as GRYFFIN, LAVERN and AR/CO enlist the Italian duo to reimagine the emotionally charged single through a darker, club-focused lens.

Released via 10K Projects, the new version shifts the track away from its radio-leaning uplift and firmly into late-night territory.

H2: Mathame Rework ‘Higher Power’ for the Dancefloor

While the original ‘Higher Power’ leaned into euphoric melodies and electro-pop structure, the Higher Power Mathame remix strips the arrangement down and rebuilds it with tension-driven percussion and atmospheric depth.

Mathame chop and reframe AR/CO’s ethereal vocals, layering droning synth textures over pulsating low-end pressure.

Rather than amplifying brightness, Mathame introduce weight and space, pushing the track closer to their signature melodic techno aesthetic.

H2: Expanding the ‘Higher Power’ Remix Series

The Mathame interpretation follows earlier official remixes from Matt Sassari and AVELLO, marking another step in GRYFFIN’s expanding collaborative arc.

Beyond this release, GRYFFIN has continued working across the electronic spectrum — including projects with Kaskade, Excision, and GRiZ — while also commissioning new versions of tracks like ‘Air’ and ‘In My Head’.

He is set to close out the year with New Year’s Eve appearances at Contact, HiJinx and Provenance.
