German producer Innellea releases his most ambitious project to date: a full-length album titled Finding Home, arriving via his own imprint belonging. Finding Home spans twelve tracks, bringing together a roster of collaborators while maintaining a singular artistic vision. At its heart lies the idea of community — of creating a shared emotional space where listeners, dancers, and artists can all participate in shaping the narrative. This isn’t accidental. Since launching belonging earlier this year, Innellea has insisted on using the label not simply as a distribution platform, but as a community-driven project.

Fans have been invited to join the creative process via interactive instagramchannels, influencing artwork, track selection, and even the album’s visual identity. In an era where most labels maintain strict hierarchies between creators and consumers, belonging’s openness feels unusual. Whether it’s sustainable or not, the experiment is telling: Innellea wants his audience to feel like co-authors rather than bystanders.

Three advance singles have already offered a glimpse into Finding Home.

•“Inside Your Mind” (with TH;EN and Carlo Whale) served as the label’s first release, a track that merges indie dance sensibilities with melodic techno propulsion. It quickly became a festival weapon, earning support from heavyweights like Tiësto, Anyma, and Camelphat.

•“Childhood” (with Goom Gum) takes a more introspective turn, balancing nostalgia with groove. It’s less about peak-time energy and more about storytelling — a reminder that dance music can also be tender.

•“Trust” (with California newcomer SCRIPT) breaks from expectation with a breakbeat-inspired framework, showing Innellea’s willingness to stretch his palette without losing cohesion.

Collectively, these tracks suggest that Finding Home will not be a linear listening experience. Instead, it looks set to move between moods, tempos, and textures, reflecting the messy but authentic process of searching for connection.

At the core of the album is a striking emphasis on vulnerability. Innellea has spoken openly about his emotional approach to music-making, describing himself as “a very sensitive person” and stressing the importance of being able to cry, to express, and to admit fragility.

This attitude feels increasingly rare in a scene often dominated by big-room posturing and algorithm-driven releases. Finding Home follows Innellea’s 2024 live project The Belonging, which fused music with visual art and performance. That project hinted at his desire to blur the boundaries between club culture, conceptual art, and personal philosophy. The new album takes those ideas further, grounding them in a more accessible but equally ambitious format.

The label itself, belonging, becomes an extension of this vision. It’s not designed to be just another techno imprint chasing Beatport charts.
