Unlike the festival-ready energy that defined much of his past work, undux moves inward. Kaskade intentionally stepped away from chasing big moments or writing for peak-time dancefloors, instead allowing the album to grow from a place of emotional honesty. For years, attempts to finish the project felt forced and disconnected, leading him to abandon it more than once.
That changed last summer, when he stopped fighting the process altogether. With no pressure and no expectations, Kaskade began creating simply as a reflection of how he truly felt.
