Canadian DJ and producer Rezz returns with another glimpse into her upcoming fifth studio album As The Pendulum Swings, releasing a brand new single titled “Glass Veins” — a haunting collaboration with rising New Orleans-based artist CABLE. Out now via her label HypnoVizion, the track continues Rezz’s evolution toward darker, cinematic, and more industrial territories.
“Glass Veins” blends slow, pulsing techno with eerie textures and restrained energy. It stands out for its ominous tension, gritty sound design, and hypnotic pacing, capturing the signature Rezz atmosphere while amplifying it with CABLE’s underground edge. This marks the fourth single from the album following Prophecy, Contorted, and Telepathy.
Alongside the release, Rezz has officially revealed the full 13-track lineup for As The Pendulum Swings, set for release on September 12. The album features high-profile collaborations with Dillon Francis & BRVMES, k?d, Owl Vision, and returning HypnoVizion favorites like EDDIE, fknsyd, and isqa. The full tracklist is now live on an interactive website created for the album.
In Rezz’s words, the collaboration came together after hearing CABLE’s demo:
“The original demo was sent to me by CABLE… I was drawn to the lead echo sound you hear now in the first drop. As soon as I heard it, I knew exactly what I was going to do. It’s one of my favorites.”
CABLE also shared his side of the story, revealing that Rezz had been playing his music live long before their collaboration:
“She played one of my tracks during her set at Red Rocks, and kept supporting it on tour. A few months later, she messaged me about working together. I locked myself in my room and two weeks later, ‘Glass Veins’ was born.”
With As The Pendulum Swings, Rezz is pushing her artistic vision into new territory — embracing industrial slow techno, minimalism, and a visual-heavy rollout that reflects her growth as a producer. The album is set to culminate with her highly anticipated second PORTAL show at Tacoma Dome in September and the seventh edition of REZZ ROCKS in October.
