Canadian DJ and producer Rezz has officially released her highly anticipated fifth studio album, As The Pendulum Swings, out now on her own label HypnoVizion. The 13-track record marks a pivotal moment in her career, blending nostalgia with fearless experimentation.
A Sonic Evolution
The album showcases Rezz’s signature hypnotic midtempo and slow techno grooves, while expanding into edgier electro and industrial territories. It revives gems from her vault like “Contorted” and “Telepathy”, breathing new life into early demos, while introducing futuristic soundscapes such as “Running From Reality” and “Delirium”. The result is a body of work that feels both reflective and boundary-pushing, with unpredictable structures, layered textures, and refined sound design.
Rezz describes the album as a “more mature version” of her project, stating:
“It reflects where I am in life as a 30-year-old. There’s nostalgia in revamping old songs, but also a freshness that captures my current influences. I feel I’ve evolved in the quality and direction of my music — leaning deeper into industrial and slow techno.”
Global Collaborations
As The Pendulum Swings features an impressive roster of collaborators from across the electronic spectrum, including Dillon Francis and BRVMES (“HOW I DO IT”), Canadian duo Chuurch (“Telepathy”), Swedish artist Owl Vision (“Downward”), New Orleans-based CABLE (“Glass Veins”), and returning allies k?d, EDDIE, fknsyd, and isqa. Together, they add global textures to Rezz’s uncompromising vision.

Beyond Music: A Visual Vessel
The album extends beyond sound, embracing a full visual identity. Drawing inspiration from her groundbreaking PORTAL show, Rezz weaves imagery, aesthetics, and stage design directly into the album’s DNA — creating an experience that’s equally immersive in headphones or in a live setting.

Upcoming Tour & Landmark Shows
To celebrate the release, Rezz has announced a five-date North American headline tour in early 2026, stopping in Brooklyn, Boston, Detroit, Houston, and St. Louis. Before that, she’ll bring As The Pendulum Swings to life at Tacoma Dome, where she makes history as the venue’s first female electronic headliner, followed by the seventh edition of REZZ ROCKS at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Artist presale begins Wednesday, September 17 at 10 AM local time, with general on-sale starting Thursday, September 18 at 10 AM. Fans can sign up for presale access here.
A Defining Statement
With As The Pendulum Swings, Rezz proves once again why she remains one of electronic music’s most distinctive voices. By merging her past with her present, she has created an album that is both career-spanning and future-facing — a bold statement of artistic identity, evolution, and individuality.
