Apple Music is making a major move into the live electronic music space with the launch of Club Live, a new broadcast series dedicated to bringing DJ sets from major festivals, clubs, and dance floors to fans worldwide.
The series officially launches with EDC Las Vegas, giving listeners access to live audio broadcasts from one of the world’s biggest electronic music festivals through Apple Music Club radio. The debut broadcast will feature a wide lineup of global names, including Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, Tiësto, Porter Robinson, Alison Wonderland, Korolova, Cloonee, Sofi Tukker, Prospa B2B Chloe Caillet, Boys Noize, GRiZ B2B Wooli, and more.
A New Home for Live DJ Sets
Club Live is designed as more than a simple livestream. Apple Music is positioning the series as a dedicated space for capturing the energy of live dance music culture in real time, while also building an archive of important performances.
The first edition will stream live from EDC Las Vegas, with broadcasts running daily from 7 PM to 5:30 AM PT, followed by rebroadcasts of the previous night’s performances from 5:30 AM to 7 PM PT.
Selected sets will also become available on demand after the livestream for Apple Music subscribers, with some performances offered in spatial audio.
Why This Matters for Electronic Music
What makes Club Live important is not only the access it gives fans, but the infrastructure behind it.
Apple Music says the series builds on its DJ Mix program and uses technology powered partly by Shazam’s identification capabilities. This allows mixes to be cleared, tracked, and monetized at scale — a key issue in electronic music, where DJ sets often include dozens of tracks, edits, remixes, and unreleased material.
For artists, labels, publishers, and rightsholders, this could create a more sustainable model for live DJ content. For fans, it means high-quality festival and club sets can become easier to access legally, instead of disappearing after one night.
EDC Las Vegas Opens the Series
The launch schedule includes sets from multiple EDC stages, including Kinetic Field, Circuit Grounds, Cosmic Meadow, Stereo Bloom, Bass Pod, and Camp EDC.
Highlights from the first weekend include Korolova at Kinetic Field, Porter Robinson DJ Set, Tiësto, Kaskade, Boys Noize, Sub Focus, Cloonee, Prospa B2B Chloe Caillet, and Armin van Buuren’s sunrise set.
The broadcast will also be simulcast on Insomniac Radio, connecting Apple Music’s platform with one of the most influential festival brands in global dance music.
More Festivals and Clubs to Follow
Apple Music confirmed that more Club Live performances will be announced soon, with future editions expected to include clubs, festivals, and Apple Music studio sessions.
The bigger signal is clear: live DJ sets are becoming a major part of streaming culture, not just temporary festival content. If Club Live succeeds, it could shift how electronic music performances are distributed, archived, and monetized globally.
