Armin van Buuren & Adam Beyer Release New Track

In one of the most talked-about collaborations of the year, trance icon Armin van Buuren and techno heavyweight Adam Beyer have officially released their debut collab, “Techno Trance”, out now via Armada Music. The union of two of electronic music’s most powerful forces has sent shockwaves across both the trance and techno worlds. This moment marks a rare and exciting crossover.

The track is more than just a collaboration — it’s a reinvention of history. Originally crafted in 1992 by Dutch act D-Shake, “Techno Trance (Paradise Is Now)” became a cult classic of the early rave era. Now, more than three decades later, van Buuren and Beyer have reimagined the anthem for a new generation. Their version fuses Armin’s signature euphoric melodies and soaring synths with Beyer’s relentless percussion and dark, driving grooves. As a result, the production feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. It bridges the gap between two of dance music’s most influential genres.

Fans first caught a glimpse of “Techno Trance” during the pair’s back-to-back performance at A State of Trance 2025 in Rotterdam, where the track was unveiled to a sold-out crowd. The response was immediate: a wave of energy that proved this collaboration had the power to connect across audiences, uniting trance loyalists and techno purists under one pulsating rhythm.

Speaking about the release, both artists emphasized their respect for each other’s craft and the importance of pushing boundaries. For Armin, it was about channeling the roots of trance into a modern setting, while Beyer approached the project with his trademark techno intensity. Together, they’ve managed to honor the past while creating something undeniably fresh.

With “Techno Trance” now out on all major platforms, the track is already finding its way into festival sets and club nights around the world. It’s not just a collaboration — it’s a statement that electronic music continues to evolve when its pioneers take risks and break barriers.
