A Long-Awaited Artistic Statement

When The Rain Falls represents Olander’s most personal and deliberate body of work to date. Rather than focusing solely on club-driven tracks, the album embraces a cinematic and emotionally driven approach, reflecting years of artistic evolution, introspection, and lived experience.

It is designed as a complete listening journey — one that goes beyond functionality and into storytelling, atmosphere, and depth.

Lead Single: “Apollo”

The album will be introduced by its first single, “Apollo,” set for release on February 6, in collaboration with rising Swedish duo Moontalk.

Blending Olander’s signature melodic and cinematic style with Moontalk’s hypnotic house grooves, “Apollo” serves as an early window into the emotional and sonic world of the album — expansive, playful, and forward-thinking.

Music Shaped by Personal Transformation

According to Olander, the album reflects a major personal and creative reset, influenced by key life changes including sobriety and becoming a father. These experiences shaped the record’s themes of renewal, identity, exhaustion, and rediscovered purpose.

Speaking about the project, he shared:

“This album means a lot to me beyond the music itself. It’s a closing and an opening — the end of the first chapter of my career and the beginning of the next.”

The result is a deeply human body of work that prioritizes emotional honesty over trends.

Global Album Tour

In support of When The Rain Falls, Olander will embark on an extensive world tour featuring album-focused DJ sets. The tour begins on March 13 in Houston and will span North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.

Known for building performances almost entirely around his own productions, the tour promises a more immersive, narrative-driven experience aligned with the album’s pacing and atmosphere.

A Career-Defining Chapter

From his early releases on Pryda Friends to founding Vivrant and becoming one of melodic techno’s most respected figures, Jeremy Olander has consistently followed a focused artistic vision. With When The Rain Falls, he now delivers his most complete and intentional statement yet.

This debut album doesn’t just mark a new release — it signals a new era for one of electronic music’s most refined storytellers.
