Chris Avantgarde has released his long-awaited debut album, Hyperreal, through his own Hyperreal label.
The 18-track project brings together cinematic sound design, industrial pressure, detailed production, and club-focused energy, presenting the full scope of the German-born, London-based artist’s creative vision.
Chris Avantgarde Drops Concrete Professional Ahead of Debut Album Hyperreal
A Debut Built for the Dancefloor
Hyperreal expands on previously released singles including “Rhythm Check,” “Concrete Professional,” “Obsessed,” “The Other Side,” “Down For The Night,” “Dale,” and “Energy.”
Rather than remaining inside one electronic genre, the album moves between darker techno textures, melodic tension, cinematic atmospheres, and direct club functionality.
Every track is shaped by precise sound design and careful dynamic control, giving the project a polished but forceful identity.
The album has already received support from artists across different corners of electronic music, including Adam Beyer, Anyma, Argy, CamelPhat, Joseph Capriati, Massano, Vintage Culture, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, John Summit, Martin Garrix, Max Styler, Oliver Heldens, and Tiësto.

From “Origin” to “Like I Do”
The opening track, “Origin,” introduces the album’s immersive atmosphere before the project begins moving through contrasting moods and levels of intensity.
“Belter” and “Jester” bring a more restless and aggressive energy, while “Where Do You Go” and “Elysium” create more emotional moments of tension and release.
At the center of the album is “Desolate Lands,” a collaboration with Swedish techno heavyweight Adam Beyer.
The track combines Beyer’s controlled techno pressure with Avantgarde’s cinematic production style, resulting in one of the album’s most commanding moments.
The closing stretch, including “All Is Good” and “Like I Do,” completes a carefully structured journey that continues to evolve without losing its central identity.

Chris Avantgarde Expands the Hyperreal World
The album is also the clearest expression yet of the wider Hyperreal concept.
Launched as both an album and a label, Hyperreal gives Chris Avantgarde a platform for electronic music built around artistic ambition, technical precision, and strong visual and sonic identity.
His background across production, composition, and film-inspired sound design is present throughout the record.
Instead of treating club music and cinematic composition as separate worlds, Hyperreal brings both approaches together, using atmosphere and detail without sacrificing dancefloor impact.
