Juan Hansen has released “Gambeta,” a new collaboration with Argentinian electronic duo Brigado Crew. It is the third single from his upcoming debut album, Ultrasonido.
Released on July 10 through Hansen’s own Ultrasonido Records, the track continues the rhythmic, organic, and genre-fluid world surrounding the album while introducing a playful concept inspired by Argentinian football culture.

A Playful, Rhythm-Driven Collaboration
“Gambeta” brings together Juan Hansen’s live-focused electronic approach and Brigado Crew’s experience in melodic and progressive club music.
The track is built around a vocal chop sent to Hansen by the duo. This element quickly became the rhythmic foundation of the collaboration.
According to Hansen, the idea developed almost immediately, with the artists choosing to preserve the spontaneous energy of the original session.
“Gambeta came together very naturally. Brigado Crew sent me this vocal chop that instantly inspired me rhythmically, and from there the rest of the track almost wrote itself.”
The finished record combines tribal-inspired percussion, organic movement, and constantly shifting rhythmic details. As a result, it creates a track that feels unpredictable without losing its dancefloor focus.
The Meaning Behind “Gambeta”
The title refers to the Argentinian football term “gambeta,” used to describe a dribble or sudden change of direction. This move allows a player to deceive an opponent.
Hansen connected that movement directly to the structure of the track.
“That’s how the track feels to me: very rhythmic, playful, almost tribal, always moving and changing direction.”
The football reference gives the release a distinctly Argentinian identity while reflecting the track’s restless, agile production.
Rather than following a fixed melodic path, “Gambeta” repeatedly shifts direction through its percussion, vocal fragments, and evolving arrangement.
The Third Single From Ultrasonido
“Gambeta” is the third single from Ultrasonido, Juan Hansen’s debut album and the first full release cycle through his newly launched label, Ultrasonido Records.
The project represents a major new chapter for Hansen after years of releasing singles and EPs. During that time, he developed his reputation through live shows around the world.
The album campaign runs through the summer of 2026. It will be accompanied by a cinematic visual series and a South American tour.
The official Ultrasonido album release party is scheduled for August 29 at La Cantera in Córdoba, marking the beginning of the tour.
Juan Hansen’s Live Approach to Electronic Music
Juan Hansen’s musical background began outside traditional club culture.
Before moving into electronic music, the Argentinian artist developed his sound through acoustic instruments, indie music, and rock, influences that remain present in his live performances and productions.
His sets combine electronic sound design with analog instruments, improvisation, and organic textures. This approach allows each performance to develop differently.
Hansen has appeared at events and venues including Cosquín Rock and Ultra in Argentina, Watergate in Berlin, Burning Man in Nevada, and Grand Factory in Beirut.
His work avoids strict genre boundaries. Instead, it moves between club music, live instrumentation, cinematic soundscapes, and experimental performance.

A New Chapter Through Ultrasonido Records
The launch of Ultrasonido Records gives Hansen a dedicated platform for the album and its wider creative direction.
Rather than presenting Ultrasonido as a collection of unrelated singles, the campaign connects the music with visual storytelling, live shows, and a community built around Hansen’s hybrid approach.
“Gambeta” captures that direction clearly.
The collaboration feels rooted in club music, but its rhythmic shifts, organic details, and live-minded structure place it inside a broader artistic world.
