Tomorrowland has officially released Avicii’s complete 2011 MainStage performance, giving fans the opportunity to revisit one of the most important early moments in the Swedish producer’s career.
Recorded on July 23, 2011, the Avicii Tomorrowland 2011 set marked his first-ever appearance at the festival and included its premiere of “Levels,” approximately three months before the track received its official release.
Released on October 28, 2026, the full-length recording is available through Avicii and Tomorrowland’s official YouTube channels, the Tomorrowland App and Avicii Community. Its arrival coincides with the 15th anniversary of “Levels,” which came out on October 28, 2011.

Before ‘Levels’ Became a Global Anthem
Avicii entered Tomorrowland 2011 as a rapidly rising producer. However, the performance captured him before the full scale of his international breakthrough.
The audience heard “Levels” before its commercial release and before it became one of the defining electronic records of its generation. The track would eventually move beyond festivals and clubs, introducing Avicii’s melodic production style to a global mainstream audience.
By 2024, “Levels” had exceeded one billion Spotify streams. In 2026, it returned to the top of Tomorrowland’s annual Top 1000 poll for a fourth time. Avicii’s enduring audience is also reflected in Yalla Techno’s Spotify monthly listeners ranking.
Inside the Avicii Tomorrowland 2011 Set
The newly released performance functions as an archive of the sound shaping major electronic stages at the beginning of the 2010s.
Alongside early Avicii productions including “Seek Bromance,” “Fade Into Darkness,” “Silhouettes” and “My Feelings for You,” the set features his interpretations of records by Armin van Buuren, Nadia Ali and Robyn.
Several tracks appear in early versions, edits or bootlegs. Consequently, the recording offers more than nostalgia: it documents how he constructed his DJ sets while his artistic identity was still developing.
Tomorrowland remains a platform for unreleased music today, as illustrated by R3HAB and Korolova’s journey from MainStage premiere to the release of “Hi Hello.”
The Beginning of Avicii’s Tomorrowland Story
The 2011 performance began a five-year relationship between Avicii and Tomorrowland’s MainStage. He returned in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Recordings of his 2012, 2014 and 2015 performances have also been released through Apple Music in Spatial Audio and through the Tomorrowland App.
Tomorrowland further celebrated his legacy in 2026 by bringing back the Avicii Tribute Experience. The installation combined archive footage, personal stories and original artefacts connected to his creative process.
Fifteen years later, this complete recording returns attention to a significant moment: a young producer playing a track that was about to change his career. It is now officially available as part of Avicii’s musical archive—and as a document of “Levels” becoming an electronic-music classic.
