1. Prospa — EXPLOSIVE

If one act captures the energy of house music in 2026, it might be Prospa.

The British duo released their debut album Free Your Mind through CircoLoco Records in June, becoming the first duo to release a full-length album on the label. The title track with Cloonee has become one of the year’s major house records, while their collaboration Baby with Murda Beatz also reached the top of Beatport’s Tech House chart during the summer.

Then came another Cloonee collaboration, Good Girl, in July.

Prospa weren’t unknown entering 2026. But the scale of their year makes them our #1 fastest-rising act so far.

2. ANOTR — CROSSOVER

ANOTR and 54 Ultra Release “Talk To You” Ahead of NO ART Somabay Event

ANOTR’s story isn’t about breaking into electronic music. They had already done that.

2026 is the year they broke beyond it.

Their collaboration with 54 Ultra, Talk To You, became a genuine crossover record, climbing as high as #3 on the UK Official Singles Chart after spending months on the chart.

That’s a significant achievement for an act rooted in underground house culture.

ANOTR have managed something difficult: expanding far beyond the club world without abandoning the musical identity that built their audience.

3. Cloonee — UNSTOPPABLE

Cloonee entered 2026 as an established international name, which makes his continued acceleration even more impressive.

His partnership with Prospa has produced two of the year’s most visible house records: Free Your Mind and Good Girl. By early August, both were sitting inside the top three of Beatport’s House Top 100.

Add major international shows and a relentless release schedule, and Cloonee increasingly looks less like a rising tech-house star and more like a global house headliner.

4. Max Styler — RELENTLESS

Few artists have been as consistent in 2026 as Max Styler.

One More received an official remix from Solomun, while Freaky 1 with Vintage Culture and Ali Love and Oldskool Flavor with Greggio strengthened an already impressive run of club records.

In May, Freaky 1 appeared at #1 on Beatport’s Tech House Top 100, while Oldskool Flavor remained inside the chart’s Top 10 into July.

Styler has been building for years. In 2026, however, his name feels increasingly difficult to separate from the genre’s biggest players. Notably, his consistency sets him apart among the DJs who took over 2026.

5. Josh Baker — ASCENDING

Josh Baker represents another side of the house resurgence.

His rise isn’t driven purely by streaming numbers. It’s about club culture, community and increasingly important bookings.

In July, Baker launched his first Ibiza residency with You&Me at Amnesia, running across the summer season into October.

Meanwhile, My Place with Poppy Baskcomb reached the upper end of Beatport’s House chart during the summer.

The question is quickly changing from whether Josh Baker can become one of Britain’s next major house exports to how big he can become.

6. Silva Bumpa — BREAKTHROUGH

Silva Bumpa might be the least obvious name to casual listeners on this list — which is exactly why his position matters.

His 2026 output has been relentless, including On 2nite, Make It Hot, Hypa and multiple other releases rooted in the faster UK house and garage movement.

While his mainstream profile remains smaller than the names above him, the momentum inside club culture makes him one of the year’s most interesting artists to watch.

7. Volkoder — RESURGENT

Volkoder isn’t a newcomer, so calling him a breakout artist would be misleading.

This is a resurgence.

The Brazilian producer has generated renewed momentum in 2026, highlighted by his collaboration with CamelPhat, Unique Moment, released through When Stars Align in July after receiving support from artists including Solomun, Anyma and Miss Monique. Volkoder’s inclusion solidifies the influence of DJs who took over 2026 in the resurgence of house music.

His production momentum currently feels slightly ahead of the jump in his global touring status — which is exactly why the remainder of 2026 could be particularly important.

House Is Winning 2026

Perhaps the biggest story isn’t any individual artist.

Look at the names experiencing some of the year’s strongest momentum: Prospa, ANOTR, Cloonee, Max Styler, Josh Baker and Silva Bumpa.
