Kölsch Unveils Fifth Studio Album “KINEMA”

Kölsch KINEMA studio album

Danish producer Kölsch unveiled KINEMA in October 2025, a ten-track studio album that brings his melodic writing and dancefloor instincts into a more cinematic format.

An album designed for motion

The title refers to movement, and that idea runs through the record. Rather than presenting ten disconnected club tracks, Kölsch builds transitions between tension and release, using recurring melodic ideas to give the album a continuous emotional direction.

KINEMA was developed from material that began taking shape during the pandemic. The finished record turns that isolated period into music intended for shared spaces, balancing reflective passages with arrangements capable of working on large stages.

Collaborations and contrasts

The album includes ten tracks and runs for approximately 45 minutes. Its collaborations broaden the palette without removing Kölsch’s identity, with vocal and production contributions placed inside his familiar mix of melodic house, progressive movement and carefully controlled drama.

Across the project, bright synth lines sit beside heavier low-end sections. Some tracks aim directly at the dancefloor, while others create space for quieter listening. That contrast prevents the album from becoming a collection of repeated builds and drops.

A new live chapter

KINEMA was also connected to a new live presentation, giving Kölsch an opportunity to reshape the material beyond the standard DJ-set format. The album’s layered arrangements and narrative flow make it particularly suited to a performance built around visuals and extended transitions.

The record follows a catalogue in which Kölsch has consistently used personal memories and emotional themes as the basis for electronic music. KINEMA continues that approach while placing a stronger emphasis on physical movement and live interpretation.

KINEMA track overview

The album contains ten tracks and is available through major streaming services. Listeners can find the official release on Spotify, Apple Music and other digital platforms.
