Sara Landry Expands Beyond Hard Techno on ‘Divine Intervention’

Sara Landry has released her second studio album, Divine Intervention, opening a more expansive chapter in the American producer’s rapidly developing career.

Released through her own HEKATE imprint on October 16, the 14-track project moves between hard techno, psy-trance, trance and hard dance while maintaining the physical intensity associated with Landry’s festival and warehouse performances.

The album follows her 2024 debut Spiritual Driveby and features collaborations with Electric Universe, SIKOTI, O.MMY, Alt8, Alex Farell, Ali James, Aaron Hibell and Godtripper.

A Record Shaped on the Road

Divine Intervention developed across approximately ten months during one of the busiest touring periods of Landry’s career.

Rather than following a fixed studio plan, the album was shaped by changing schedules, unexpected creative sessions and collaborations that moved in different directions from their original intentions.

That process became central to the album’s title and concept. Landry presents unexpected changes and apparent setbacks as forces capable of redirecting an artist towards a more meaningful result.

The record therefore operates as more than a collection of festival tracks. It documents a period of personal and creative change while translating those experiences into music designed for high-pressure dancefloors.

Hard Techno Meets Trance and Psychedelic Energy

Landry has become one of the most visible figures in global hard techno, but Divine Intervention avoids remaining inside one tightly defined category.

The album’s collaborators help expand its musical range. Electric Universe brings a direct connection to psy-trance, while Alt8, Alex Farell and Godtripper reinforce its harder club foundations. Contributions from Aaron Hibell and other guests introduce more melodic and cinematic dimensions.

Previously released singles including “Angel Dust,” “Shake That” and “Awakening” offered early indications of this broader direction.

Across the complete project, heavy kick drums and high-speed rhythms are balanced by euphoric melodies, trance-influenced builds, vocal moments and more reflective transitions. The result remains unmistakably connected to Landry’s live identity without sounding limited to one DJ-set formula.

HEKATE Becomes a Wider Creative Platform

Releasing the album independently through HEKATE also strengthens the label’s role within Landry’s creative world.

Originally established as a platform for uncompromising techno, HEKATE has developed into a home for artists working across the increasingly connected areas of hard techno, hard dance and trance.

Several artists associated with that community appear on Divine Intervention, turning the album into both a personal statement and a showcase for the wider sound developing around the label.

Sara Landry Enters Her Next Era

The album arrives as Landry continues to operate at a major international level. Her recent schedule has included Ultra Miami, Coachella, Tomorrowland, EDC and large-scale headline performances built around her ETERNALISM and BLOOD OATH concepts.

She was also named the World’s No.1 Hard DJ in DJ Mag’s 2026 Top 100 DJs genre awards, reflecting the growing global audience surrounding harder and faster electronic music.

With Divine Intervention, however, Landry appears interested in more than simply reinforcing her position inside hard techno. The album broadens her production language and presents creative uncertainty as a source of momentum.

It is a record built for collective release on the dancefloor, but its underlying story is about accepting change, following unexpected directions and allowing a new artistic identity to emerge.
