David Guetta has been crowned the World’s No.1 DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll for 2026, becoming the first artist in the ranking’s history to claim the title six times.
The result was revealed during DJ Mag LIVE at [UNVRS] Ibiza on October 6, with Guetta performing a two-hour headline set after receiving the award.
His latest victory moves him ahead of Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren, who have both topped the public poll five times.
David Guetta DJ Mag 2026: A Record-Breaking Sixth Victory
Guetta first reached No.1 in 2011 before returning to the top in 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025. His 2026 win therefore extends a relationship with the poll that now spans 15 years.
The achievement arrives more than four decades into the French producer’s career and during another commercially successful year.
Guetta continued his Future Rave project with MORTEN, reunited with Afrojack and Sia on “Awake Tonight” and launched Men Machine alongside Marten Hørger. He also collaborated with ARTBAT on a remix of Gotye and Kimbra’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.”

His live schedule remained equally ambitious. Three sold-out Stade de France concerts reportedly moved more than 240,000 tickets, while his Ibiza season included Galactic Circus at [UNVRS] and F**K Me I’m Famous! at Ushuaïa.
The DJ Mag result follows Guetta also leading Yalla Techno’s ranking of the biggest DJs on Spotify in 2026, underlining his continued reach across streaming, festivals and large-scale live events.
Anyma Climbs Into the Top Three
Martin Garrix remained at No.2, while Anyma climbed seven positions to reach No.3—one of the most significant movements near the top of the 2026 ranking.
The result reflects Anyma’s rapid development from a member of Tale Of Us into a global audiovisual headliner. His current ÆDEN chapter continues to expand through releases and international performances, including the recently announced ÆDEN show at Zamna Tulum 2027.
Alok followed at No.4, while Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike remained the highest-ranked group. Charlotte de Witte climbed to No.6 and retained the World’s No.1 Techno DJ award.
Her latest position follows another major creative milestone covered by Yalla Techno: Charlotte de Witte’s debut album.
House and Techno Artists Continue to Rise
Beyond the leading positions, the 2026 poll highlighted a wider shift towards house and techno.
Fred again.. climbed 17 places to No.16, while John Summit, Mau P and CHRIS STASSY each moved up 22 positions. The three artists jointly received the Highest Climber award, with Summit reaching No.24, Mau P landing at No.55 and CHRIS STASSY entering at No.59.
Indira Paganotto moved into the top 30 and received DJ Mag’s first World’s No.1 Psy DJ award. Josh Baker became the Highest New Entry at No.40, while Shimza, Cloonee, Wade, KI/KI and Sonny Fodera were among this year’s new names.
DJ Mag says the 2026 poll received a record number of votes from 234 territories. Although the ranking remains a public popularity poll rather than a technical assessment of DJ ability, its results offer a snapshot of which artists currently command the largest international fanbases.
Guetta has also remained a major presence across international festivals, including brands previously featured in Yalla Techno’s report on the Soundstorm 2026 cancellation and 2027 return.
David Guetta’s sixth victory confirms that few electronic artists have maintained his combination of mainstream recognition, club relevance and global touring power for so long.
